About Ravenwood Hall - A Country House Hotel in Suffolk
Steeped in history with origins in the reign of Henry VIII, Ravenwood Hall is one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets. Set within 7 acres of secluded and tranquil Suffolk countryside just outside Bury St. Edmunds, the Hall has been restored over the years however retains an ornate carved oak structure, Inglenook fireplaces and rare 15th century wall paintings.
It offers the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding, a peaceful break, a celebration and delicious dining all year round, with roaring log fires surrounded by an eclectic mix of comfy sofas and chairs throughout for the chilly days or a pool side retreat during the Summer.
Being a world away from everyday hustle and bustle, Ravenwood Hall is a special place where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy every moment…

Hi
Yvonne
It’s that time of year for thoughts of our
Christmas
celebrations again and with this being our 4th year having our
Company Christmas
party with you it reminded me of how we enjoy using the Ravenswood
so much and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. We have had such
wonderful times and fond memories of every year. The food is always
superb, atmosphere brilliant and of course the staff cannot be more
efficient and friendly, and of course its always topped by you greeting
us at the door with that wonderful Merry Christmas and welcoming smile
AND of you remember us all so well! must be the unforgettable dodgy
dancing throughout the evening !

We enjoyed a warm welcome and stay at Ravenwood. Overall the food was innovative and delicious--compliments to the chef, the room was delightfully clean--compliments to the housekeepers, and the staff was helpful and considerate at every turn, especially the waitress who served our delicious breakfast!
Trip Advisor - November 2011
The scenery of the hotel was just perfect: pure English countryside. Friendliness of the hotel staff was beyond praise - I've travelled a lot but probably never have seen so much personal touch and sincere
willingness to help and make my stay absolutely fantastic. The room, main building and restaurants were exactly as expected - cosy, full of small details and historical artefacts. But attitude of the hotel staff - that what made a real difference, from reception to the owner of this hotel who managed to find time to chat with every guest in the hotel.
