RAVENWOOD HALL 3 DAY CHRISTMAS BREAK 2014   2 Day Christmas Break

What could be more magical than Christmas spent relaxing in front of an open fire, country walks, Midnight mass at Bury Cathedral. All of the pleasures of festive food and drink you can want with none of the work.

CHRISTMAS EVE – Wednesday 24th December

Arrive and check in from 2.30pm

At 4pm we serve traditional English tea with toasted muffins and crumpets served by the open fire

Early Evening between 7.00pm & 9.00pm

Enjoy dining from our seasonal a la carte menu.

11.00pm

Midnight Mass at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral.

For those who wish to welcome Christmas Day in the traditional manner.

CHRISTMAS DAY - Thursday 25th December

Start the morning with a country house breakfast between 8.00-10.00am.

Christmas Luncheon

Definitely the highlight, our six -course yuletide menu offers you the feast you look forward to all year,
to include superb crackers and special hats

The Afternoon

Enjoy our superb grounds to walk off any lunchtime indulgence, or just relax by the open log fire.

Then enjoy afternoon tea with Chefs Christmas cake

The Evening

A light buffet to be enjoyed at your leisure for those still with an appetite

BOXING DAY - Friday 26th December

Start the morning with a country house breakfast between 8.00-10.00am

Pre Lunch

Take a tour of Bury Cathedral, West Stow Country Park is open for a delightful walk
as is the National trust owned Ickworth Park nearby.

Lavenham is also well worth a visit, to walk amongst the medieval houses and attend the glorious church.

The choice is yours we do not offer transport just ideas to fill your day.

Lunch

Enjoy our traditional Boxing Day Lunch served between 12.30 to 2.30pm.

If you wish to attend the Pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds please advise reception for an early seating for brunch.

Afternoon

After an afternoon at leisure we serve traditional English tea with toasted muffins and crumpets served by the open fire.

Evening

A succulent set dinner to prepare you for the rest of the Christmas holidays.

A Leisurely country house breakfast prior to departure.
