A GREAT EXPERIENCE
My wife and I stayed for one night recently. As soon as we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely - clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Part of the deal was a seven course taster menu - the food was all delicious, and very nicely presented. Again, the service during the meal was very good - friendly and helpful, but not cloying. We were also entitled to a cream tea the next afternoon, but sadly had to head back early to relieve our babysitter. However, the staff very kindly packaged us up a 'cream tea to go', so we didn't miss out.
All in all a lovely experience - we felt that the staff really bent over backwards to help, which on top of the lovely food and surroundings made it a pretty hard deal to top.
Just returned from an overnight stay and we loved everything about this lovely place , wonderful decor, superb food and charming helpful staff , we felt that nothing was to much trouble and will make this a regular destination , Ravenwood hall sets the benchmark by which all
British country hotels should aspire
ONE OF THE VERY BEST
As an airline captain I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This place has everything and the staff can't do enough for you. Superb in every respect and wonderful value. Dogs are allowed in the bar area for their owners' mealtimes (but not the restaurant!). Go there and see.
