Originally the main living hall,
the Restaurant retains its carved timbers and huge inglenook fireplace from
Tudor times, creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere in which to enjoy the
delights of the kitchen served with traditional courtesy.
With home preserved fruits & vegetables,
and with meats & fish smoked on our premises, our Head Chef uses the
abundant seasonal foods, locally produced with flair and imagination.
All this combines into a menu which is both adventurous but classical, featuring long forgotten English recipes. Ravenwood Hall's extensive cellars are stocked with some of the finest vintages, as well as excellent quality lesser known wines & features a selection of rare ports & brandies.
For a a less formal setting, both dinner & lunch can be enjoyed in the comfortable and cosy bar where unusual dishes will tempt you, Click on one of the blackboards to see a range of our typical bar menus, you wont be disappointed
