Our Roomsome

From family celebrations to a quiet weekend away, we have rooms to suit all occasions.  The main hall has seven individually designed rooms, all reflecting the historic nature of the building. With antique furniture and gorgeous bathrooms, they offer a delightful place to stay and unwind.

We also have a further seven rooms in the Mews. Converted from the original stable block, these rooms are adjacent to the main hall. These rooms offer contemporary elegance. Each of the five rooms on the ground floor also have their own little terraces and are perfect for ease of access or for guests with dogs.

The Oak Room

This elegant bedroom blends timeless charm with cozy comfort. At its heart is a beautiful four-poster bed crafted from rich, dark wood, dressed in soft neutral linens and delicate embroidered pillows. Flowing drapes add a romantic touch, framing the headboard and enhancing the room’s classic character. Located on the first floor of the main house the room benefits from matching wooden bedside tables with softly glowing lamps create a balanced, restful atmosphere, while the warm color palette keeps the space calm and welcoming. This room has front facing views over the beautiful lawns. It can also accommodate extra z-beds.

Saxon Room

The Saxon bedroom offers a perfect blend of classic elegance and relaxed comfort. The centerpiece is a charming four-poster Kingsize bed, complete with a softly upholstered floral headboard and flowing fabric canopy that creates a warm, romantic feel. Crisp white linens are layered with a quilted bedspread and rich mustard accent cushions, adding depth and warmth to the space.

Abbey Room

This inviting Abbey room on the first floor of the Main House showcases classic country-house style with a warm, welcoming feel. A substantial wooden bed with beautifully turned posts and a solid headboard forms the focal point, dressed in crisp white linens and finished with rich mustard velvet cushions for a touch of colour and luxury.

Traditional wallpaper, matching wooden bedside tables, and softly glowing lamps add to the room’s timeless charm, while dark curtains frame a large window overlooking the gardens, filling the space with natural light. Comfortable and characterful, this room is ideal for a relaxing and restful stay and can also accommodation an extra z-bed.

St Edmunds Room

The St Edmunds Room is a beautifully appointed space on the First Floor of the Main House that blends classic elegance with soft, contemporary comfort. At its centre sits a luxurious bed with a striking upholstered headboard in warm terracotta tones, perfectly complemented by crisp white linens and layers of soft, neutral cushions. A plush quilted bedspread adds warmth and indulgence, creating an inviting place to unwind. It also benefits from a Juliet balcony overlooking the side lawns of the Hotel. Thoughtful details and a calm, soothing colour palette make the St Edmunds Room an ideal retreat for a restful and relaxing stay.

The Deans Room at Ravenwood Hall is a light, elegant space located on the first floor of the main building. This beautifully appointed room features a super king-size bed that can be arranged as either a double or twin, offering flexibility for couples, friends, or solo guests.

 

Full-length floral curtains frame French doors that open onto a Juliet balcony, filling the room with natural light and offering views of the surrounding grounds.

This room, which is located on the first floor of the main house; does not accept dogs, but is perfect for guests seeking comfort, space, and a refined rural escape. It is also large enough to fit 2 extra z-beds making it perfect for a family stay.

Magna Carta Room

A compact and highly comfortable room perfect for business visitors. With traditional décor and wonderful panelling around the bed.  This room  has a warm and inviting atmosphere, it beautifully reflects the heritage and character of our historic hall. Opposite the Rookery room, which is also ideal to twin as a family room.

Rookery Room

A hugely elegant room, The Rookery showcases a truly traditional English design, beautifully styled in soft, classic colours that create a calm and refined atmosphere. Light and airy, the room is thoughtfully designed to feel both welcoming and luxurious. A particular highlight is the private balcony, offering peaceful views overlooking the lawns — the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. With its timeless charm and tranquil setting, The Rookery is an ideal choice for a restful and memorable stay.

The room features a generously sized bed adorned with a deep blue velvet quilt and soft, striped cushions for a classic, home-from-home feel. Ideal for romantic escapes or a quiet weekend away, Mews Room 1 combines comfort, charm, and just the right amount of luxury — all within a short stroll from the main house and its beautiful grounds.
